vintage pics of women & cars

Saw an article recently she is still driving a Harley at like 81 years. She likes speed she she says. Go girl!

    Uncle Tony is not happy!

I remember years ago when Harley Davidson was struggling to survive, maybe still are, mentioned at the time (before covid), that this younger generation is not even interested in driving never mind in buying bikes. I have a hard time thinking this new generation would ever see this new Charger...

    What are these parts for?

It’s been some time(years) since I disassembled my 68’ 300 bare for complete redo. Recently repainted and going through bags of parts, I came across a bag that says “300 dash”. I recognize the parts but cannot place them. Help/suggestions appreciated.

    Decoding help!

I’m purchased two 300 parts cars. One in Alberta, Canada, the other from Kansas. I must have taken the tag off the Alberta car as the one first one I bought (in Manitoba, Canada, so three now), didn’t have a tag on it which is a convertible so this tag won’t help me either. All very...

    Pabst Brewery and Mansion

If you can ignore the cancel culture and woke garbage, which I can, what a great piece of historical sophistication. Thanks for the pics. Always another place to visit with out great Mopars.

LP Liquid for heating in an enclosed garage

X2 on the door open idea. My first exposure to C02 poisoning was using a standup 250,000btu propane heater for about 2.5 hours with doors closed. You don't feel anything coming at you. Felt funny, barely made it back to the house (25 feet) under my own power. No signs of anything except some...

The Van Lee Iacocca pitched to Ford before he joined Chrysler

Iococca was one of the last true car execs that was in the "car" business. He was a man that read the market and produced, or tried to produce a vehicle where he read the markets was heading. Delorean was another "car" guy and probable many others I missed. There is no personality in the big...

While messing around on Bring A Trailer - 1968 Chrysler 8 door Limo

Would be a good project. Lincoln hubcaps and Cadillac radio knobs replace. The brass Chrysler nameplate is worth noting. Smoke the windows with interior refinements and you have a sweet ride. Rare I bet.

    Thrift store score today...

So true. Cleaning out my uncles 115 year old family farm with Edison spark plugs and odd wrenches and such. If you are one of those that appreciates our hobby, you do think twice about the use of these old tools and what should be done with them.

    Sean Connery dead at 90

This man had such a tough guy image and presence on the screen, you had the feeling he would live forever. As his friends said, tip a vodka martini and a whiskey dram for Sean. Peace be with him.

    SOLD; 1966 Chrysler 300

Agree on the Cardone advice. When you order parts and are miles away from supply house and its bad, its very frustrating. Happened two times with brake parts from this company. Never again. j-u-n-k

    Chrysler Identity At Risk.....

My opinion, we don't have any persona left in the car business. Real car guys like Iaccoca, Delorean, the Ford family, etc. such are gone. These guys got in front of the cameras bragging, about their cars, their factories, their workers. Even when times were'nt so good. I bet many of us were...

    Name that car

Roof line looks too clean to be a Ford, more like a Mopar however the molding looks to be a 1963-66 Ford product. Close???

Chrome Pit is long gone in Winnipeg. Quietly, from what I can tell from asking around for a plater.

    Chrome plating

Guys, I live in Manitoba and had to get mine shipped to Alberta for plating. Our market is small and am sure the environmental issues had something to do with forcing many locally to close that part of the business. My front and rear bumpers for my 68' 300 cost about $2,200 CDN. (Includes...
