With some body work, this 300F seems to be a good bargain at the "buy it now" price. Just a possible option for some of you guys down in Florida that love these cars as much as I do. Probably merits an inspection before hitting the buy it now button, but it looks pretty nice. The Chrysler 300 Club indicates it is a real factory red interior 300F (there were just a few of those, as most all of them were factory tan) but the original exterior color was sandstone rather than white. So if you don't mind a non factory color or a salvage title, this might be worth considering:

Odometer shows some 74K miles and it appears believeable given the condition of the seats at least, which do appear to be original, as does most of the rest of the car.

I had the same question which is why I said you might want to inspect it first to see if everything is disclosed. Their estimated value of the car is ludicrous, by the way. Maybe 20 years ago it might have been worth over 100K!.................................

That was quick. It was priced at $23K, buy it now. Someone got a good deal I believe.

There is still a perfectly serviceable wheel cover left...

Thanks for posting... the more I look at the damage, the more certain I am this could be a relatively easy fix... Bet the paint match sucks.

What really gets me, the air cleaners are missing???

BTW I applaud the A/C addition... but an RV2 wouldn't be correct back then, would it?

Not sure about the RV2 but it's a factory A/C car; the vents on the dash are a dead giveaway.

RV2 is correct for a F. Somebody got a deal on that thing. Biggest thing with letter cars is finding the parts because most of them are letter car only. This one has all the parts.

Air cleaners are not that hard to find. In my opinion, the RV2 compressor, which was correct since the later 50s should have died by the mid 60s. That it continued far longer is the screw up. Rotary compressors should have replaced it long before they did in the Chrysler line up. One of Chrysler's biggest bungles.

If I had that kinda money, I would've gotten a set of the ~$600 repop aircleaners, made sure the bumper wasn't gonna fall off, and driven it around grinning like a fool. The trick to drinking champagne on beer budget, in this case, is to always back it into the garage, then you never see the damage...
