1965 Dodge Polara 440 383 4 speed

Sounds like a nice car, I wonder what the difference would be between an appraisal for a car that came original with the big block (383) 4 speed and a poly car that was upgraded to the 440 and 4 speed.

Definitely a original car should be worth more.
I'm not the guy who says what other people's cars are worth. I'm the guy who decides how much I would pay for a car.
Last spring I bought a 66 440 4 speed sport fury . The guy was asking 14 I offered 12 grand and he didnt take long to say OK. The car was on kijiji. He had a flurry of offers under 10 grand. This car appraised at 21,500 it's way more rare than a 65 polara 440 .
Did you inspect the polara? Is it a original 4 speed car?
My 880 conversion would fool almost everyone

  • It appears to be. Going back next week to get picture of VIN and fender tag. It also appears to be a radio delete car.

Dont get me wrong, that 65 is cool.
It's up to you to decide what price you can live with. There isn't very many around to compare it with.
Being on a car lot kinda sucks. They have all the time in the world. It's just 1 more in their inventory.
Compared to a B or E body it's cheap.
