This is posted on Facebook and normally I wouldn't bother putting it up here after looking at it.

However, I think it is a good example of how a seller is detached from reality when selling a car.

1966 Chrysler Newport fair condition, 383 2 Barrel. Rear wheel drive. AC compressor clutch needs to be replaced. Power steering pump needs to be located and replaced. The vehicle is drivable. 78,000 miles

I don't know about you but this isn't fair condition in my book and for some reason doesn't look driveable as it sits. Oh, and usually the hose is outside the car.

Drivable, with a tow rope attached to it, ok.

I didn't see a price, let me guess, $1234? Did he use it to tow that 5th wheel? And oh, don't show that plate for gods sake.

It's something that the "old men with hats" came up with a few years ago. It seems that every time a car was posted "for sale", it had just been washed and the hose was laying there. It became a game to spot the hose.

Example: NOT MINE - 1971 Chrysler 300 2dr on eBay (rust bucket)
So , if someone that is not an " Old men with Hats" plays, is it frowned upon?
Is Ayilar keeping track of who spots the most hoses?
Kidding!
Have a nic evening,

You have to start cleaning somewhere might as well start with the inside.
