NOT MINE 1967 Monaco convertible $5000 CDN

We are such a suspicious bunch, I told Debbie that I would help promote her car on FCBO so she's been ghosting us and is not a disgruntled X, nor a daughter or widow, my apologies from all of us.
The owner did in fact have it up for $10,000 and has reduced it as she is in need to help her granson get some much needed dental work done. The original photo was done by them when originaly purchasing the car, the others outside their place.
She also has a 66 Polara and some parts/ engine from a 66/67 Fury.
Hope you sell your car Deb, good price, a lot of Monaco freaks here and most importantly hope all goes well with your grandson.

The license plate on the car is (still) currently registered to a gold 1967 dodge. It's possible that someone bought the car and is now trying to flip it, they technically haven't registered it with the MTO but this happens a lot with older used cars. The plate comes off the car and stays with the current owner. Any Ontarian who buys this car will have to obtain an appraisal and submit that form, along with a UVIP, when they register the sale and put the car in their name (which technically has to happen within 6 days of the sale).

Ross - you're only 20 km away (from Brantford, where this car is?) - why don't you just go and get a few pics of the interior, engine and fender tag?

Very suspicious that these photos are all taken from the street or the outside, as if taken by someone who passes by the car and doesn't own it but knows it's for sale. I can buy the UVIP and within 5 days when it gets mailed to me I'll know who the car is technically registered to (if indeed they still own it).
I own this car and have for approx.5 years It's not a flip or drive by pic. It is parked in the parking lot of the apartment I live in.

Sorry for being so forward. I have so many scam text messages that it gets discouraging. I just need to sell for my grandsons dental work.

273 was the engine that was in the Monaco when i bought it 5 years ago
It had around 44,000 miles on it

Trickett, many on here just want your VIN / fender tag so they can decifer it and break down the options it originally had to enter it in a database they gather on which cars remain out there in the wild. I don't even know what my tag says as my Polara is half Monaco. For example my Polara has bucket seats now but originaly has a bench. It's a game old men play to keep their minds fresh.

I'll have to look tomorrow

Hey Deb, in case you weren't aware, you may have individual messages from members here. You can access them by clicking on the little envelope beside your name in the top right corner of this page.

I have the ownership. The first picture was taken when we were looking to buy the car, the others are taken in the parking lot of the apartment building i live in. I have more pics that i will post asap. but i will not post VIN# I had it posted for 10,000 but i have a grandson that needs dental work and my son doesn't have the funds so we have to do a quick sell. I have had an appraisal done when i bought it and is currently insured through Haggerty.
Mea culpa for bringing a possible issue. No offense meant by any means.

Lately, there's been a rash of scams involving people trying to sell cars that don't belong to them so there's a lot more reason to be skeptical. As you've said, you are getting lot's of scam messages yourself so it's easy to see how it can go both ways.

Again, no offense meant, just trying to keep folks on here aware. Good luck with the sale and good luck with your grandson's dental work. The costs of sitting in a dental chair has gone through the roof!

We're good people here, Deb. We're also cautious... and human. :) And, we step up to the plate if we've caused undue distress.

I live not too far from you. If I can help, I'd be happy to. I will call you this weekend.

If your car sells to someone within this community, it will have gone to a good home. What will really help is more info, more pics and such, all of which I can assist you with, as I know what areas of the car people want to see.

I understand... I am the same when trying to sell something. Sometimes putting out to much info leeds to more headaches. My husband has more pics of the interior and under car
