Hey guys:
I'm working on my '68 Fury III convertible with a 4bbl 383. I need to know which type of base gasket under the carb is correct. What I am using currently is a thick insulator gasket for a later ~1972 AVS application. It works but has obviously thrown off the relationship between the choke and the carb.
I didn't really want to run a thin gasket because of how prone modern gas is to boiling but I'd also like my choke to close fully.
Thanks for any help.
