I have made up my mind and I am going to purchase a MaxJax lift for my shop.My vert is in storage or I would measure myself....can anyone give me the width of the frame at the C/L of the car?I need this so I can figure out where to set the post anchors for this lift. Also, is there any info on the center balance point front to back on these cars? Thanks to all!

There's no frame at the centerline of this car, it's a unibody. All the info you need is in the factory service manual for your car but I'll check my parts book for '68.

This is out of a '68 FSM that I happened to have In my personal stash.

Thanks Matt,That is exactly what I need front to back....I just need the width pinch weld to pinch weld where the pad location is shown on the page you posted.Would that be the 22.2" and 18.8" X 2 as listed to C/L? Seems quite narrow. Anyone else here have a MaxJax?
