Hello Everyone,
I bought this car back in November or so, see this closed thread for pictures and descriptions:
When I purchased it, my intent was to use it as a parts car, get the dutchman panel out of it and a few other small items and part the rest so I have an unsigned title from the purchase.
I've changed directions and am not going to do anything with this car. The only thing I've done is clean out all the things in the trunk and interior put three buckets of Damp Rid in the interior and truck and covered it with a car cover.
I'm going to check if the engine is seized in the next couple of weeks and the trunk is much better then I expected. Preliminary inspection is that the stub frame and rear frame rails don't look bad. I believe I will find that the engine is not seized as the original owner was, I believe, a mechanic and seemed to take care of the car other then the body rot below the chrome strip. It seems almost everything is still there but this car didn't come with any option to speak of except the 383 Magnum. IMO that makes it pretty cool and rare.
My question is, does anyone want to take on a challenging restoration? If so, I will make the effort to get the title in my name and look the car over much better. I'm hoping someone is willing to try because I think the car deserves to be saved.
If the engine is not stuck and I don't do anything else with it but my time to check it out futher the price will be $2500.00, not looking to get rich off it and I want it priced for someone to take on the resto. I paid 1600.00 as a parts car.
Located in Clarion, PA which is western PA and not far off I-80.
Thanks.

Friend of mine pulled his brothers 69 Monaco 2dr 383 Magnum out of storage earlier this year. It is still an original owner car. Bad part is it is a complete PARTS CAR only. Underside is typical PA rusty with large sections of framerail missing or crusty crumbly. He is asking $1600 boo. Located...
