One more part is here.
50" custom torsion bars from FirmFeel.

Unfortunately, I still don't have the rubber mounts.
But I've send a set to "Then and Now Automotive" for revulcanization.
And I will make another set with PU myself. Then, I can see which ones are suited better.

Rubber mounts? Does Imperial have rubber mounts with the torsion bars? Or do you mean the ”boots”, that is the cone shaped rubber covers at the rear end of the TB’s?

No, Imperials do have rubber isolators and a special mount on the rear of the torsion bars. Seen in one of my previous posts.

Chrysler's used the same set up in 1965, then it was eliminated for 1966. Dodge may have used it too, but I know that Plymouth did not.

After searching for a long time, I finally found someone who was willing to laser cut my new Door Boards and Rear Trim Panels!
He was only willing to cut them out of aluminium since his company is doing just that. My upholstery shop can't use them because you can't staple into them and stuff, but I was fine with the aluminium as templates for fitment and measurement check purposes.

But I have to say, they look pretty cool in aluminium ;) they will make nice wall art later.

Of course, I had some things to correct, like moving some cutouts a millimeter or two here and there. But I have to say, overall I did a pretty good job measuring everything in the first place. ;)

Next step is to find someone who can laser cut them out of HDF to get the finished product.

I would look for a steel rule die maker in your area. Steel rule dies are used to stamp advertising materials, foam pieces and card board boxes. The bases for the dies are typically plywood or MDF. They will have the ability to laser cut MDF.

As to the door panels, I would look into water cutting. Makes a clean cut, I’ve seen pieces done using that method. Here:

And yet another Part has arrived!

Since my original dash Clock was not salvageable...

I had to find a replacement. Thankfully, back in 2015, @goodneighbour gave me one! It was cosmetically in pretty good shape. Unfortunately, the movement was broken and the coil burned.

I media blasted and zinc plated the housing and cleaned all the other parts.
I also had my original movement and another one I bought on ebay years ago which had the same problems the clock from goodneighbour had.

So I decided to send them out to a specialist for repair. I neither had the experience nor the spare parts to repair it myself.
I've send them all the parts I had and told them to make one good movement out of the 3 broken ones. The excess parts I donated to them.
I'm pretty happy with the result!

Unfortunately, those types of judges would know nothing about this car.

Clockwork is a lost art. My uncle did it when he was around. Would go to his house as a kid and all through the house was antique clocks he restored. Every 15 minutes there was the sound of the clocks going off.

When I rebuilt my door panels I used fiber board. used the originals as a template when cutting them out. Glued several layers of padding down and then stapled the material covering them to it. Placed plastic sheeting behind it for water proofing.

The speaker is not original...

What diameter bars did you order?

They are measuring 1.06" x 50" which is slightly thicker then the original 1.02" ones. They are offering either 1.00 or 1.06 diameter bars.
