And of it is for Immersion Paint and Rust Removal. After that the Body man will finish the rest of the work and then it will get its CDC (Cathodic dip coating). :D:D:D

20 feet Imperial rolling by ,, yeah whatever " :D:D

Sheet Metal work on this is Fantastic....not many shops do that work anymore!
Absolutely! I'm really happy that the car is at the right place! He is doing magnificent work!

I was there a week ago to see the work in person and the pictures really don't do it justice... It's even more impressive in person.

And while I we were standing there chatting, he did a few small things I brought him at the same time. Great to see him doing his work in person.

Dare i say that is probably some of the nicest metal work i have ever seen on any of these car fourmns. Looks like it was just made in 1969. Shame so many don't aspire to do that level of work.

Please don't make re-read 900 posts to refresh my memory on how you found these guys and who are they. UNBELIEVABLE workmanship.
Well FINDING guys like him is the real problem these days. The biggest problem is, that most of these good metal workers seem to be "rich" and only do the work they like. I searched the better part of 2 years for a good metal worker who is willing to do all the work. And now, "thanks to corona" others backed out and he had time for my project. :)

AND shame on so many car owners who are not willing to spend the money to do all that work correctly. Let me tell you, work like this ain't cheap, but worth every penny!

Absolutely. Old cars are not cheap at all. You get what you pay for as they say.

I've read somewhere that mixing cast iron and aluminium on an engine is not good, is that true?

I bought an unused 440-source aluminium water pump housing at the BBTR show this weekend but now I'm not sure if I should use it or not.

Pardon my ignorance but don't they use aluminum heads on iron blocks?
