I thought you said that has a 440 in it

It does, look at the new photos....... originally a 383-2 it has a 440 in it now. Again, if you need the engine specs or want to know anything else I know the fellow who built it and see him every year at Carlisle.

he took the road wheels off it too? Yeah, great job, these car look a lot better with cragers on them.

Thanks for helping me make up my mind

Thats a silly attitude Mark. Make a deal it has to have the road wheels ........ You can bolt them on for Heaven sakes, your reasoning for buying or not buying is puzzling. That is without a doubt the best 70 polara on the planet AND it has virtually every option you want

I will maybe pursue it in the springtime, now that winter is here I am in no hurry.

And
Dave, the issue is not just that, it's just the idea that he would do that in the first place........personal preference, I guess, and it is his car, but I certainly don't want to spend 15K and then have to go looknig for an 800-1000 set of road wheels. Same thing with the console, look at all the work it took, assuming he properly converted it back to the column.

I get it ....but look at what it is, and if you want to add things you can. Nothing saying you have to do it now. Its what you want..... why settle for less. You wanted the best polara there is, I produced it.

Mark, I dont have photos to show you of under the car. No bondo:shruggy:? Thats not for me to say. If it did and I said it doesnt I would be a liar. Again, I can reach out to the fellow who built it fifteen years ago and find out your questions..He does not do things half-assed nor does he pinch pennies when it comes to building a car

I just sent him an e-mail. I hope he still has the same address. If not I'll have to ask around.

Man, I still like that 300 though

with all this flip flopping, I might be very well suited to run for office

No, your not. I am not either but I am a politician ............my trouble is I am as honest as the day is long.

Nothing wrong with the 300, its probably a better car being all original. Besides its got a white interior ....all original, all original all original........... but it is not a dodge

who has the yellow one and the other FK5 one?

you know, more than 80% of the original mother lode is still in the ground. I need to head to Cali and get some, then I can afford any Polara I want. too bad that blue one is so gawdy.........color is just too bright for my tastes.

The yellow one is from Canada, a very nice fellow named Peter. The other car is not FK5 but red, I sent you photos of that a month ago. That one is on the Wisconsin/Illinois border.

after all this, I may still end up making a trip to NJ..........due to the distance more than anything else.
