1970 Chrysler 300 carb problem

so my three hundred has been running a little rough lately. First i would keep having to give the car gas to keep it running when i first started it up. now when i start it, it fires right up but idles very high. almost seems like im holding the gas partially down even though im not. if i put it in gear the car will drive about 15-20 mph without me even touching the gas. any ideas? Thanks guys!

ck the choke, may be sticking, first stuck open causing the hard starting, now it may be part way closed.

well I got it checked out today. turns out the secondarys weren't shutting all the way and were stuck open. Got it fixed!
