And here we go again, another ‘70 300 vert for sale, let the games begin!

NOT MINE

1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible. Originally Jubilee Blue Iridescent exterior with Black convertible top and Light Blue vinyl interior, the car is now painted White and Gold in a tribute to the Hurst 300's in 1970. Obviously this is NOT a true Hurst 300. The car features Power Steering, Power Disc/Drum Brakes with a freshly rebuilt power brake booster and dual master cylinder. The 440 4BBL was replaced with a 383 2BBL at some point in time. The car starts, stops, shifts and runs well with a recently rebuilt carburetor. I have not driven it very far, as it is not licensed. I purchased the car in 2021 in a 2 car package deal and it will come with a bill of sale only (lost title). It has nice 15x7 Chrome and Gold painted Chrysler Rallye type wheels and Firestone P225/75R15 tires with good tread. The electric convertible top operates well, but will need the rear window section replaced/repaired (was clear plastic and ripped). All 4 power windows roll up and down. The headlights and headlight doors operate well and the brake lights, running lights, and blinkers work. The wipers operate, but for some reason don't want to return to stowed away when you shut them off. I would consider the overall condition of the car as driver quality. The paint and body work appear to be garage/back yard quality, but the car looks good from 10-20 feet and the paint/body would last for a while if the car was garaged. Expect to get a lot of looks when you are out driving it, as the car is unique and you just don't see these big Chryslers much anymore. There has been rust repair work done in the lower rear quarters and trunk floor and in some of the rear wheel wells. If you were to restore the car, you should expect to repair/replace the rear lower quarters, trunk floor and drivers side floor boards/seat brace. The rear wheel wells and rockers will probably need some attention as well, as they have some patches. Passenger side floors appear to be in good shape. The interior is still Light Blue vinyl although the door panels and dash pad were painted with vinyl paint. I think the car was sitting for a year or two, so you should probably go through the different systems before you drive it a lot. I found a partial build sheet which will go with the car. The reserve price is very low, so bid to win it. I will cooperate with your shipping company for transport.

Thank you for posting. Poor CM27T0C110092 -- it must have looked great originally in EB7 with a blue interior and black top.

"Re-listed due to zero rating buyer. Buyer rating of less than 5, email before auction ends or your bids will be canceled."

@69CoronetRT and @cuda hunter -- you may want to grab the build sheet and fender tag from the eBay site: the sheet is partly torn but the photos are super-high resolution.

Edit: as @69monaco pointed out below, when CM27T0C110092 was first listed in Feb. 2021, the seller at the time said that the car had been bought in Canada. The VON does not start with a C, though, so it must have crossed the border twice.

I agree; poor car it was a nice car back in the day. That "tribute" is terrible, and I'm not bashing the paint job because that looks great but it's obviously NOT correct besides that

He could have deferred to the next buyer at $5800 and 357 feedbacks. So we shall see how the seller does on the second auction. Many ,many ,many times in the past when a car went up a second time and sometimes third time, after not meeting reserve or whatever, the subsequent bids fall short of the first time.
