nice, clean-looking original taht sure seems to be what it "seems to be" :icon_cheese:

not sure why the aftermarket gauges are necessary in a highly original car otherwise, but an EZ fix if new owner didn't want them.

hope it finds a good home.

This is the type of ownership that you want to buy a car from.
Look at the mudflaps!!,

Front and rear of the wheel openings no less!

The best interior rear compartment trim I've seen on one of these. Usually it's scratched, sunbleached, cracked, and/or missing.

I would be interested, but it has no rear a/c! Seriously nice wagon though. Mint for sure.

Man that is sweet! Love that interior color.

The carpet and chrome/stainless load strips on the cargo floor is what I want to put in my 69 Fury suburban in place of the ugly "battleship" flooring that's there now. Mine needs to be replaced and SMS wants $75.00 yard, (takes two yards), for the material. I'd rather find and buy all the pieces from a upscale wagon.

It is a gorgeous car for sure but I think it's being sold by a flipper. It was for sale on Kijiji for $8500 but sold the first day according to a Station wagon Forum member. Looks like he needs more bids though to make any money on it.

Oh, definitely. Especially when saying a one owner car from 1970-2015 and then talking in third person about all the wonderful possibilities for a collector.

At this point in the auction, he is in the black by a minimum $600, depending on what he actually paid for it. The current $6800 USD is about $9100 CAD. He only paid in Canadian dollars. Still another 6 days to go.

Looks like someone had to have it before the auction ended. Not surprised at all. Mint wagon, and you will probably never see another one like it is a reasonable statement.

I tried to buy it but I guess was outbid. I had an email exchange with the seller and thought I had it done.

In cases like this, email is not the way to go. You got to talk to them because you certainly weren't the only one trying to buy it now. Email makes it seem like you are not all that interested. I might have been talking with him too if it were Aztec gold rather than brown. Someone got a nice one.
