1971 Chrysler 300 2dr complete car minus orig motor was 440 auto ps pdb a/c cruise am 8 track radio. 440 core motor needing rebuild will be included. Excellent black interior. Factory rally wheels with bf goodrich tires in excellent cond. Sure grip rear end. Car still has full dual exhaust and original radiator in good cond. No cut wires. Nice body solid floor pans. Originally FE5 red now in primer. Clear title.

Don't see many 2dr 71's. IF ONLY I could have more parking space. I'd call it the "Fuselage Spaceport". :woohoo:

yeah nice straight body too, there's got to be another fuselage fan on this forum looking for a nice 300 to bring back to life....it appears this one may not be too hard to start out with.

Here I took the engine out of this car, now I dont want the car. You can find a 440 and get the car running again and for 1,800 you can get started. That just doesnt make sense to me. After fifteen years on the internet I have seen thousands of these ads and I still cant accept the philosophy.

Buy a crate engine and do it right............................stupid, leave that car alone.

I have a complete 440 HP engine and trans pulled from a 69 300. It was a strong running engine before the car burned.
If I wasen't in the middle of doing my 69 convertible I would be all over that car. Probably buy it for $1500.00, another $1500.00 for an engine and a $2000.00 paint job.... That car should bring $6-7 grand, perhaps more.

If I can make the right deal I am seriously concidering "saving" this 71 300. I have a TNT 440 pulled from a 69 300 to put back into it.

The car was a running, driving car not to long ago and is nicely equipped with Disc brakes, cruise control, a/m 8-track radio, road wheels w/nice tires and a really nice original black interior. Comes with a "new" windshield.


Just wondering if anyone would be interested in the car once I get it back running and painted the original red. I already have a 69 300, 65 Coronet and a 64 D200 pickup so I don't really have room for it.... I just want to save it and find a good home.
I'm thinking around the $7000.00 mark running and painted....

We do not understand why Americans are always messing up paint jobs ...:yes: No welding, but filler and filler and some more filler.... I think it is the American way of making profit. If a car shines it will sell better but it covers up the mess underneath the paint...:yes:! Besides I do not like paint on my weather seals, windows, bumpers, chrome, trim etc, or have a different paint color behind my door panels, sill plates etc.

I'm not American but have a few friends there who would likely resent your comments. :thebirdman: If the car is as straight and solid as it looks yes you can have a presentable paint job for $2000 particularly if you do the work yourself. BTW what idiot goes to all the trouble and expense of importing a car without having it inspected first?

My last 3 cars all came out of the US, and brought into Canada by me. I'll pay way more for a rust free car, and have it shipped, still cheaper then rust repairs.

Oh absolutely. Which is one of the reasons why it should be looked over first before you buy it, Fred is 100% correct. Which is why I qualify as an idiot for buying cars site unseen.
