1972-73 IMPERIAL FOR SALE Tracker starting NOW into INFINITY.

I contacted the seller. The car is 45 minutes from my home, and I wanted to schedule an inspection... I then asked if the price posted was correct-His reply was that the lowest that he is currently willing to take is $17,500. I replied that for me, it is currently priced too high for the market on 73 imperials.

I've bought a lot of Imperials in my lifetime - and this one is a straight column car (no tilt/telescopic wheel), no leather interior, no cruise control, no 8 track. The steering wheel is likely cracked like you cannot believe with that "wrap" on it and I guarantee the ATC II doesn't work because the heater matrix servo is completely missing. This car has a lot of issues and is lacking in the options department - tops price wise this is a $5,000 car if I saw photos of things I actually liked, as in the condition of the body. I love it when sellers give photos from 20 feet away - I already know what the car looks like - I want to see details to the condition of the body as in under the car, bottom of the doors at the pinch weld, a cleaned out trunk so I can see the metal of the trunk floor and trunk extensions - these are the important photos to see the real condition of the body (NEWSFLASH :: the unibody which is the most expensive thing to repair on any Mopar by the way) - not a 3/4 view of a car I know what it already looks like..............but I guess that's just me.

I'm not sure about the rest of you guys out there - but it sure seems like the money we earn is extremely difficult to build up - and if a seller isn't willing to show me the photos I want to see - well - then I'm not willing to part with these hard earned dollars (but I guarantee the seller thinks I'm just another tire kicker.......) ..............

I agree 100% on this statement. I bought my 1973 2Dr for a quarter of the price of that car, my imperial has a fairly rough body. Rust behind rear wheel arches, above the front window, beneath the rear window and on the front fenders near the door. But the main structure is intact; floors, trunk, chassis rails and rocker panels. The interior and rubbers are in great shape excluding the drivers seat and the car is highly optioned. for $20,000 you would almost expect concours in an imperial. For all of those who wanted to see my 2dr i have uploaded some photos

My 73 Coupe will occupy all of my attention the moment it lands here in australia. As for the tag, it appears to be missing however the interior has never been apart so there is a chance a broadcast sheet will still be in the car. I will keep you all updated.

Hello, does this one look familiar to anyone? emailed owner for some more pics, but maybe this girl has some history here.
1973 Chrysler Imperial LaBaron 4dr Hardtop - $7,500 - Merced, California

It's been posted before, maybe 6 months ago. Same 5 pictures although the price is lower (I think the seller was asking 10k). Maybe a little diagnosis into the non-functional A/c this time around too

This one is still for sale, a new listing, now the price being $$2,800, saw it gradually decrease past few weeks...

That Imp really doesn't look that bad. Rear window is the real issue with that ride.
Hitchcock Texas is right on the coast next to Louisiana below Houston. That explains the rust that is on the car then.

I can see the car has quite a few dents. The interior is also fairly average however $2,800 is not a huge investment

FB Description

Testing the waters - you know how it goes, too many cars, not enough time, etc... No rush to sell, but if someone makes me an acceptable offer, I'll let it go. Plus, you'll be hard pressed to find another one of these. 1972 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron survivor 58k original miles - sat in a barn from 1979 until 2018 Good shape overall with only surface rust that I've found Known issues: Runs and drives but runs rough - I would suggest a valve job. A set of used 906 heads will go with it as I was going to do that Power steering leak AC and cruise are out Headlight motor works but does not turn off (I unplug it) Brake booster is on its way out - car still stops Pros: Nice interior New Headliner Newer tires Solid body, I've not found anything worse than surface rust Floats down the road Original owners manual included Service manuals included Original paperwork included from dealer The one missing Imperial badge is also included Make me an offer
