1972 Plymouth Custom Suburban

I thought for sure that car was doomed when I saw it on FB. You are the man Paul. Surely saved its life.

Thanks Wyatt, been meaning to ask you if you've had any luck with getting paperwork for that blue Polara?

Great pics and really great to see that old gal driving again. I had a 73 Custom Suburban...man, I'd love to have that car back now. So much fun to drive.
Thanks! Feel free to post up pics of your 73!

Wow Paul,
Awesome job on that wagon. You really brought that car back into the land of the living in no time flat.
It's just like I told you in person when you came to Philly. You have resources, skills, determination and abilities that I don't.
Thanks for saving these cars and posting your progress on them.

I really need to update this thread a bit...have been driving the snot outta this thing lately to work out the bugs. It's been super reliable other than the starter relay that I've been having to use a screwdriver on...and it's ability to dislodge hubcaps! Yesterday I made the trip to see @Xenon and help tear down a 383 with @furious70, only to return home to find my 2nd hubcap of the year missing!

Well I dug another ratty one out of my ever dwindling stash...can't really blame the old girl, Illinois highways are horrendous!

Last weekend my oldest son and I pulled a decent windshield from my parts car. It is cloudy around the edges from delamination, but much better than the original that had many cracks directly in the driver's line of sight.

Still have been racking up the miles while getting things ironed out with the assistance of my friend @Xenon ...it's crazy how quickly winter seems to be approaching!

Had a good time yesterday hanging out at @sixpkrt 's shop with him and @Xenon...it was a 200 mile round trip in this beat up warrior. After some pondering, I looked back through my pics and was surprised to find this old soul has racked up 6,700 miles since being pulled from a pasture!

Nope, not at all.

It wasn't here more than a minute, and I knew it was going back on the road.

Took the all-weather winter wagon out today running errands during our 1st snowfall. Witnessed the snowplows running around and incredibly, they were NOT spreading salt!

It's like a rash, it spreads. I have an itch, better not scratch it. :BangHead:
Yes it is ...I started with my 68 Newport. After I spent some time in this forum, I went nuts... Added a 72 Fury 4dr sedan and a 72 Custom Suburban.. I've got my eye in a 78 NYB and it's all I can do to NOT!...
