That is a steep price for one with a 360 engine, no power windows and probably few other options. May not be a three seat wagon either. But very nice looking......................... Seems to me I have seen this for sale recently somewhere else though, like maybe Ebay?

Or, you could take that same amount of money to a car lot and get a disposable piece of plastic with twice that many miles on the clock.
Better yet, you could try to get a different '72 Fury wagon into that same condition for the same total investment. Good luck with that.

I agree with you to a certain extent but that's just not what these cars have been selling for even as nice as it is. Especially not with those absolutely hideous wheels.

Wheels are easy to change. The stock ones are probably siting in his garage. The shape looks to be really nice. Price wise, it is a little high, until you start restoring a car. Paint jobs are just stupid unless you do it yourself, or get a friend discount. On that alone the car is worth it, IF it's something your really want. The next one in this shape will take awhile to find. 73k miles, if true, should be a nice car. After restoring many cars, the saying "Buy the best & only cry once" is sage advice.
Nice clean car, but won't get even half his asking price. Many people will over pay for their dream car, don't see this one as anyone's dream car.
I agree it's a nice wagon but I don't think it'll sell anywhere near the BIN price.

I always assume the asking price is negotiable.
The wagons seem to be more popular lately. You have to remember that wagons appeal to a much wider market. Folks who would not look twice at a 72 Fury hardtop or 4 door would be interested in this car, just because it's a wagon.
I hear it all the time...... The nostalgic value of a wagon crosses over the brand issue and is probably stronger then even convertibles.
I think this car could be negotiated to a very reasonable, (not lowball), price and the new owner would walk away proud. My guess would be in the 10-11K range.

I was thinking 10-12k. But maybe not. The one thing I would agree with is the wagon can be a tough sell. I had a really nice 67k mile 283 stick(!!!) with a real positrac (red tag & all), gold on black 1967 Biscayne a few years ago. It took almost a year to sell. I had a ton of interest. Possibly the most interest on any single car I have ever sold. It was nuts really. Most said "if it was just a 2 door". Painful...I lost money & sold it for a mere 2k after more than enough tire kickers. I grew to hate that car. I just overshot the wagon market. Or at least in the Chevy market.

The green factor and the small block hurts this car from pulling money. But why not 10k?

I'm Ok with the small block. Wagons are best enjoyed by driving them and the small block offers good economy and ease of maintenance. The Admirals 318 pulls our trailer up and down through the mountains just fine so it's not a power issue.
This car could not be duplicated for 10K. (Just allow for new wheels, tires and wheel covers......).

The real irony iz that their iz such ah beast az ah 440 Hemi. Not sure what all it consists of but I'd guess new headz and valve train? Car-bud in Pittsburgh did it to his 300 Hurst 'bout 20 yearz ago. 'Bout 5K for the entire improvement and he said he couldn't really tell the difference other then that hiz check book waz 5K lighter. Last we knew the Hurst waz somewhere in Europe.
