The U.S. Army had a fleet of them that they used for courier cars. The Army still buy cars and trucks today in bulk from the big three for fleet use.

There's a Pick & Pull yard near the humongous Air Force Base right outside of Las Vegas.
Unbelievable amount of ex-A.F. Mopars in there. Especially trucks. They spec'd out some strange combos...
When I was there, what C-bodies remained were pretty much down to bare carcasses, though.

These days the government auctions them off on a government auction web site when they are no longer needed or economically sound to repair.
