Lousy pics but the car looks good.

PS: and I see it’s for sale in Medina, NY

Why do people continue to do this when everyone, including the seller, knows its 110.

I think that's just part of the FB AD format as if you leave the box blank it defaults to that, but hey I'm just shooting from the hip on this one as I've never attempted to place a AD there.

:elmer:

I thank the seller for NOT having posted a picture of the fender tag. With this quality, that would have been pure cruelty.

Photos are sure lousy, but I don't believe we have enough information to rule it out - one owner helps, car doesn't look bad enough from what we can tell to be sure it isn't 10K miles given it is in New York and it is garaged at least and the pin striping even looks like the claim could be valid plus the condition of the decal on the air cleaner. It could just be an old fart like me that owns it. I have a 1997 Chrysler that only has 5,500 miles on it and it is 24 years old. Still smells like new inside and drives like it.

Never say never Stan. Whack jobs like me do still exist I can assure you. :realcrazy: :D

It's probably a good thing that the pictures are terrible. Cause I'm already drooling over this Monaco. Everything I want in a formal, standard hardtop, a big block, and a decent color. Just to bad (or good) it's in New York not Medina MN.

BTW: If that is green with a lighter vinyl top, cleaned up would it be like this one?

A year ago, when I was looking for a Royal Monaco, I'd have been all over this, even though it is not triple-black or an RM. Pretty nice car, even with trying to decipher the truly shitty pics. But alas, my D300 project has been a budget-buster in and of itself.

Hard to tell, (considering the pictures), but with no tinted glass I'd guess no A/C.

I'm thinking that these could be the same car. Neither appear to have tinted glass.

How many Avacodo Gold 1974 Monaco coupes with no A/C could be around?

A shot of the trunk lid on car #2 would certainly prove it.

If this car truly pushes your buttons, then just fly to Buffalo, rent a car, and drive 45’ to Medina, NY to get it. That is what I did to get my ‘71 Monaco. In between a snow storm and an ice storm, too. The weather is much nicer now :poke: :)

@sixpkrt got a car off an ad with three crappy pictures that didn't even show what car it was! Chase down any and all leads if it's what you want.

Remember the good old days of when we had just the local newspaper ads, the Auto Trader, and Hemmings to go by. Two or three lines. No pics.

For you kids out there - "1967 Dodge. 383 4-spd. Air. 33K. $4,500 222-222-2222 NY"...and that was actually a pretty descriptive ad.

You had what it was: drivetrain, location, price, and maybe miles and options, if the seller splurged for the third line. I bought more than one car/truck this way.
