SOLD 1977 newport rear

Complete take out from 77 newport. Never checked gears don't wanna pull cover. Brakes are like new, drums are in great shape. $30 pick up in bay city Wisconsin.

Can't even buy one brake drum for 30 bucks. These backing plates and brakes will Bolt right onto an 8.75 also.

Want gone asap before winter or off to scrap it goes

I'll check but looks like a few 8.25 I've cut out. I'll count the cover tonight. I cut it out and threw outside. Factory rear from the car

I very well could be wrong but it sure looks like 8.25 to me. Please by all means correct if I am wrong. I thought 9.25 looked more like a smaller Dana style cover.

Easy ID is bolt at bottom center= 8 1/4.
2 bolts on bottom, and looks like a stop sign= 9 1/4.

Well guess it's settled. It's a 8.25 rear. Load of scrap heading out Monday. If no one wants it I'll pull brakes off, add to my pile of brakes and housing and diff are gonna go in with the load.
