I've been getting letters from my local Dodge dealer wanting me to buy a new Ram for a "sweet $50k deal"!!!

Remove the "0" from that 50K price Bob and you're rite in the ballpark for the FWD Turbo'd 1/2 ton hauler. The fun thing iz that when you pull into a dealership with one they all come out to look at it 'cuz theirz nobody been workin' there long enough to remember 'um, lol

Same thing when I rumble in to the Dodge dealer with my 78 NYB. LOL!

Trouble is..... It's only worth that until you sign the paper. Then it turns into a $38K truck.

I don't think I would buy a new car or truck again. I can find a well maintained low mileage vehicle 2-3 years old for half the new price.

So by asking us our thoughts on it, and sharing pics with us that doesn't give us the right to look at it?... I meant no disrespect to you by posting the link... If the seller is a stand up guy he'll give you first crack regardless of who else contacts him.

No harm...no foul dude. I probably over reacted a tad. I just got back from looking at the truck and I decided to pass on it. I was so close to pulling the trigger, but now that I am out of the "coolness zone" that is around that truck, I am glad I didn't buy it. If anyone wants to pursue it PM me and I'll give you a detailed description. The owner seems to be a standup guy and has a barn full of 'cudas, Challengers, Chargers and Bee's so he has no time or room for the truck. I will not describe or criticize the truck publicly, but will be happy to talk privately. I will say that you must have a good storage & work space, a good MIG,some mad sheetmetal skills,a pocketful of money or an in with Chip Foose to bring this back to where it deserves to be. It still looks like a good deal for a grand. Glad it's not close to me, the temptation would be great.
