Slant 6 with a four speed would be a nice combo on its own. Great reliability and fuel mileage....but better to go f^% it up by dropping a LS in it....

We had a 79 Warlock Package with the slant 6 and 4 speed. Great truck! Traded it in for a new 1984 short bed with the 318 and 4 speed. Got well over 200k out of it before selling it. I still miss it

Is it me or is the price a bit high.
I've kind of secretly always wanted to build a healthy 360 Magnum and back it with a 5spd that I stuff into something like that. Pre. '85 D150 so I could run Ramcharger 15x8 steelies on it.

These trucks are gaining value. Stock ones can go for pretty decent money, not many left that haven't been modified, rotted, or used to death. I'm glad I got my '72 when I did.
I love it, but the bed is too short... and the price is too high...
I have pedals, big block bellhousing and a shifter assembly...trying to find a trans...
