I’ve been going this show for a number of years. Member @Imperialist67 (who has been going since he was a kid, this was his 50th show) introduced me to it:

This year’s show was poorly attended, likely due to the poor weather. Luckily, the rain stopped for the time when I was there. As in past years, I met @73MFImperial and his wife: they brought their gorgeous 1973 Imperial and 1977 Cordoba -- it was great to see them and their family.

I went as a spectator. Pre-registration to enter a car is $10. Spectator entry is $15 (or $12 for seniors). One of the few local shows that charges for spectators, and the only one that its cheaper to enter a car than go as a spectator. Last time I entered a car, it vapor locked trying to get out at the end of the show.

To answer the question about the 67 Polara:

I just know the owner of the 67 Polara by first name, Lyle. He's had the car for a very long time. Years ago, there was a cruise in at a Burger King in Manassas, and he was a somewhat regular attendee. I spoke with him at Sully and he complained that there are no shows or cruise ins near where he lives (Springfield) any more.

This is the Imperial that parked next to @Boydsdodge at Carlisle in '23.... The Imperial's entire family came, I recall.

Both of them attracted quite a lot of attention.
