hi all
i have a 66 Plymouth Fury 2dr and looking at repairing my front windows. It looks as if i need this weatherstrip or something similar?

http://nationalmoparts.com/parts-ca...eV1_WIDE.tpl&product_id=3257&category_id=1727

basically the window isnt secured on the frame where it meets the front quarter window. (the pictures show the hole in the window where it should be fastened to something) so when the window is raised it becomes skewed as its only secured by the regulator arm thats raising the window.

This is my first time working on a window like this so im after any advice/help anyone can give me. As im in Australia id appreciate
recommendations on where to purchase parts i need for the windows (and any other restoration part sites i may need in the future).

Hopefully the pictures attached explain my issue better than i can!

Thanks guys,

You are absolutely right. The section that glides the window up and down in the vent window/main window track is missing.
Just consulted my OEM Fury manual. Best thing to do is to completely remove the verticle vent window slide track and start from there. Might as well disassemble all window components from the door, inspect, repair and lube and while your at it
change the inner/outer fuzzies. The outer snap in, the inners are attached to the door panel. Be patient and have a lot of
band aides handy.

Thanks for the reply.

Needed someone to confirm I was on the right track before I ordered it.

I'm sure I'll have alot more questions in the future too!

Thanks for your help and advice mate!
