383 build up

Almost done with my 383 I had sitting around. I was going to put it in a 85 4x4 pickup (painted like the General Lee) But sold the pickup. So I hopped it up a bit. Just need to finish painting intake, water pump/housing balancer etc.
Will be on the dyno soon!


69 Block .030 over Zero decked Align honed Deburred
10.2:1 compression
KB pistons stock rods (race prepped rebuild with ARP bolts)

Thanks. Not sure at the moment. My dad brought home another 80's 4x4 pickup but not sure I want to mess with a bb swap in that thing. I do have a 74 Duster project car but thats needs ALOT of work to swap it. Im probably just going to sell it.

Just Pro Comps.. But I went thru them end to end both blueprinting and porting/valve job

That's an art form I've never attempted. I can't afford expensive door stops.

Just a few more hardware bolts, distributor/wires then slap the carb on for the dyno

Very nice, Don't skimp on the balancer. Fluid dampner is my choice. that motor is going to be a screamer.:icon_cherry:

Dont worry. Its just a Low Deck Big Block with aluminum heads. And its from Northern Tool... Lol
