Yes it is, how was it won and why did it sit?

My guess would be first price at some larger drag race event.

I believe it was won on a raffle ticket. I was only 7 at the time so not sure. It also came with a Tom Hand built 727 too

I'm not sure why my dad never used it. It sat at my uncle house for all them years. I have been bugging him since the 90s to let me put it in my road runner but he wouldn't give her up. Then a mouth ago he called and ask if I wanted it.....HELL YEAH I said

I seem to remember them raffling off an engine at Carlisle in the eighties. That might be it.

Well I got the engine back together today. New coil and dist, it's running better just not as quick as I thought it would be. It's only got about 2 hr on the motor so I wasn't really laying into her but feels like a stock low comp 440.
