What do these engine numbers mean?

Marine 1961 ?

I can tell you the 27478 means April 27 1978 which is when the engine was assembled

No on both posts above. Not marine and not 1978. What is the block casting date on the side? It will be 1958/59 because the MR413 engine is a 1959 passenger car engine. Not just a 300 engine, they all have MR413 for 1959..

They don't know what the 5 digits mean.
