yes, thats a newport wagon - 3 spd manual trans was standard, auto was optional.
new yorker wagons had automatic standard

The three-speed floor shifter was available on New Yorker wagons, as well. Like a nut, I passed on a '62 NY six-passenger wagon a few years back that had a 361 with a 3-speed floor shifter. Damn nice car out of central Iowa, and surprisingly rust-free, too. I've got a pic of that somewhere...

The dash is an "Astrodome" dash - the most beautiful dash of ANY '60s car, bar none.

Wire wheels were an "over the counter" option on 1961 models.
