$29K ....Dooohhh!!!

Now, now we have been chastised for being to negative. It does have pretty chrome valve covers, an after market carb, air cleaner and intake and it has been upgraded to 4 wheel disc brakes with a drum brake master cylinder. What more could you want for $29k? The engine is even an after market blue instead of the staid looking turquoise.

Heyy dave,,
Can you post a pic of YOUR pretty chrome valve covers..? Purty pleeeze....

"made for 3 years" sounds more correct. Dan - your wagon IS nicer, but that '64 is not bad. Pricing seems more than a little ambitious.

And that MC has the smallest resevoirs I can ever remember seeing.

The thing I was worried about is that the drum MC is not designed for use with the Bendix booster. The Bendix will put out almost twice the operating pressures because they are needed for disc brakes. I doubt the casting and internal parts for the drum MC were designed for that increase. I can see that whoever installed this combination was probably thinking equal reservoirs to service the large pistons on the rear discs, probably just made the wrong choice. I guess it could be possible that the supplier of the disc conversion may have supplied a disc master designed to look like a stock drum unit, but if such a thing exists, I have not yet seen one.
