I've never seen one of these for sale at such a high asking price.

Possibly seeking to re-coup 80% of the restoration costs? BUT the decades' old paint might be getting ready to have some age-related issues?

Beautiful Imperial but Damnnnnn!!
For that price it would have to be all original, stored in a climate controlled garage all its life with about 500 miles on it
Or some kind of provenance like JFKs or Sinatra's personal automobile
Also can't understand the white top, needs to be black
I know......... Jimmy Hoffa is in the trunk

I'd say he is trying to recoup 100% of the restoration plus.

If he put $85000 or $100,000 in that Imperial he is currently dead, because his wife totaled up all his receipts. Now she is trying to sell it.

As a new member, who has immersed himself, as of late, into full frame imperial 'verts .(not my first immersion) All I have to say is, There is so much detail to these cars, that if they were perfect, then the cost of purchase should/ would be understandably high.

Great point.
It’s an Imperial. It’s not a Dodge, Plymouth or Chrysler. Duh.
Maybe call it a Desoto Imperial?
That’ll drive’m nuts…
