Want the front of the 1968 300 and the rear of a 1967 300.

Believe it or not I've seen mashups like this (and the other way around) at least 2 or 3 times for sale in ads.

'68 Chrysler 300 probably had the best looking front ends, IMO.

I have a '68 300 and I do love the front end view. But the '68 Fury III with the stacked headlights looks better to my eye.

All are good designs, with their integration into the body lines and orientations. In some cases, some black paint can make them look better, as @cbarge illustrates.

As to "as produced boldness", I like the '66 Newport best. With the wider chrome bars and such. The others do not seem to match that degree, as produced. The '67 Newport looks nice, but is much more fragile as the mesh is stamped, satin-anodized aluminum.

Of course, the absolute nicest-looking items are the '67 and '68 Chrysler 300s, with my favorite the '68 version.

I gave you an agree for the black out like cbarge mentions, I am fortunate to have 2 sets of grill and tail lights , originals untouched and the others blacked out.
Blacked out gives my 67 Newport a more sinister vibe.
Also totally in agreement the 68 300 is the best, you see one approaching you and it goes by and my immediate thoughts are " I want one" or 2 like Bronze Turbine!
