Greetings wise ones! I would like to upgrade the brakes on my Polara to probably Scarebird front disks. Aside from the obvious, what brake pedal, booster, and other etc. would be needed from vintage mopar. Models and years of manufacture would be very helpful as parts folks seem very willing to help, but don't know what will interchange with what. I'm just learning about this car and would appreciate comments and advice. BTW car pic is posted on welcome wagon: father/son project. Thanks!

Don't know the answer to that one, but I'll give you a bump... On my 65 I added 72 Fury spindle/disc brake assy's but I'm still running the single m/c. I had/have a power brake setup on the shelf but it wouldn't fit with the 4 speed/clutch pedal assy. Mine has seen a few changes over the years - went from 4 wheel manual drum to power, then when I added the 4 speed I had to revert to manual brakes and the discs came somewhere in near proximity (hey, that was ~ 1986 so I don't remember all the details). The single m/c actually has worked fine so I haven't gotten around to upgrading that yet. Can't say exactly what pedal/booster assy you'll want, but I'd think a 65 Polara power brake pedal/m/c assy would be a good starting point, you should be able to find a dual m/c to work with that.
