Yes it is a pretty car...
But 6500$ for a car that needs interior , has wrong motor, and is short
on options is a bit too much....
"pretty" only goes soo far ....

What a beauty!

Hmmm... Never seen this car around...

It's near me if someone is serious.

The fact that it was an engine donor, looks repainted, has no underbody shots and hails from New York (Russians!) alarms me. However, if I could put eyes on it... It could be a once in a lifetime shot to be something great again.

I don't think that car is native to the Syracuse area. The wheel well trim is usually the first give away as the salt destroys the aluminum trim very quickly. Underhood looks good too.

But.... Point taken on that it needs to have eyes on it.

Russians? WTF?

I could nitpick this one but it'd all be *might be* crap. Certainly needs eyes on it. Assuming it's not totally screwed underneath, that whatever repairs were done to the roof are legit and that the sellers description of its mechanicals check out, I'd throw 6 grand at it. It's a 68 300 hard top and you don't see them too too often anymore.

I'd assume that trim was stainless in '68. Aluminum wheel trim came on the scene in the later 70s.

Where do you guys get that it was an engine donor or has the wrong engine? What am I not seeing.

I'm pretty sure that's aluminum. Somebody with a '68 300 can verify this, but I remember my Dad's 68 300 having aluminum trim.

The wheelwell trim and rocker molding is anodized aluminum on my '70 300. This is why it's so hard to come by.

FWIW, '68 B body wheel well trim is aluminum and my '65 Barracuda has aluminum trim.
