For Sale '68 Newport w/'67 front clip

Found this one on eBay:

Runs and drives great. Paint is in good shape. No rust. Needs some interior work. Power top is original, no leaks, in fair condition and works. Tires are in good shape. Originally came from Colorado in the mid-70's, family owned since.

On May-12-16 at 15:06:37 PDT, seller added the following information:

Surface rust in the trunk under the mat. No holes. The car is in the same condition as when dad bought it in the 70's. We don't know the history prior to his purchase.



Looks like it was pieced together a long time ago. Kind of cool.

That looks nice. I'd always thought a 67 300 with a 68 front clip would be a nice mix 'n match combo.

My dream has always been to put a '67 New Yorker front clip and tail lights on a Newport convertible.

Now see I've though about dressing a Newport up like a NYer, but I'd do it to a 68. I guess we all have our preferences.
