Did manage to get some work done this week end. The very last patch has been welded into place. But not quite finished. Few more hours welding and grinding and then on to the body work. Rust free Newport is very close.

Did get some work done today. The RH door I bought was from a Newport Custom and needed trim holes filled. So I got them welded and smoothed out. I am inching ever closer.

Thanks Dave. If anyone can appreciate it,I know you can. Picked up some high build primer. So...should see some more body work, and more parts in primer soon.

The door weighs just over 60 lbs. w/o the glass.
The primer is Maxx Fill 2K high build urethane primer. $73.00 gal. Hardener included. Not sure how it works yet. But I will let you know.

In the past I used DP-20 RM 2K high build primer.
