Thanks for all the kind welcomes.

I have seen the Bozeman car, and sent the guy an e-mail but no response. It looks a little rough body-wise, is there such a thing as a solid c-body?

Since I am new to c-bodies, why do you guys love them so much. What is your driving impressions, what don't you like about them?

Many thanks, Darren

There are lots of solid and clean looking C-bodies, but priced accordingly... So, it's your budget which decides if you are getting a rust free car or not. With some luck - and hard work! - you may get a really nice barnfind etc. on your hands for a fair price. Just gotta keep looking, all the time.

Why do we love our C-bodies? Because! You'll understand when you are driving your own C, it's hard to explain. It's like trying to describe colors to the blind, I guess. But trust me, you're going to love yours once you find a right car!

The only thing I hate with C's is changing the spark plugs into a big block, some of them are real hard to get... Still, I have always managed to change them all, so not a big deal.

Very cool, thanks. Any particular build threads that showcase typical needs to get one of these cars fit for everyday use - so I know what I'll be getting into? Best, Darren

I like them because they are more honest than the previous or latter era cars. I love cruising down the highway behind a long wide flat hood...the sun light reflects off it like a sheet of ice. I HATE changing the damn spark plugs, ESP. the rear plugs on the 383/440 cars.
