69 Chryslr 300 Door Panel Removal

Passenger door lock will not work. Need to remove interior door panel. How is that done? Besides removing the window cranks and door pull, what type of clips, etc. are used? Any photos of the backside to see what I'm working with?

You're working with crappy cardboard and spring clips that fit into it. Starting at the bottom, use a plastic trim removal tool (or a dreadful putty knife) placed as close to a clip as you can get it (so as not to tear the crappy carboard, which you WILL do) and simply pry it out. Then work up each side.

When the clips inevitably come out of the crappy cardboard, use JB Weld to cement them back in place EXACTLY how it was.

These are your friend... Nylon Pry Bar Installer Kit, 4 Pc.

As said, from the bottom and work up the sides. Pull up when all unclipped to get it off the door frame.

And don't leave the plastic sheet out when you put the door panel back.

OK, put some NEW plastic on the door... How's that?

And when you replace or refit the plastic sheet, make sure you tuck the bottom edge of it INTO the slot on the door - this allows any water that hits the side of the plastic to drain properly into the bottom of the door and out the drain holes in the door, rather than onto the interior carpet and rust out the floor.

My hurst don't works passenger side's power window smooth.
Try to 70 300 hurst door panel, so I removed around clips.
But, don't panel off.
I think the parts fix door frame, but don't find clip or bolts.
Could you teach something?
(I'm Japanese, so cannnot speak English. Sorry for my Bad English...)
はじめまして。ハーストの助手席側の窓が故障しいているので、ドアパネルを開けようと試みました。
周囲のクリップは外れたのですが、上部のほうで何かが固定されており、ドアハンドルの金属部分と推測しているのですが、外側から外せるように見えません。
皆様のお力を貸していただけないでしょうか。よろしくお願いいたします。m(__)m

Your English is better than our Japanese, so we're good!

To take these off, gently pry on the outside, where the red arrows are in this picture. Once those are off, you'll see how it unscrews.

Use something like this to pry the chrome parts off.

When all of the clips are loose you must lift the panel straight up.
