Thanks..some folks think these mirrors are made of gold..thanks to an idiot former president and his "cash for clunkers"..lots of good old parts cars got crushed..

No matter who is president..after a car is over 20 years old most of them end up in a wrecking yard as they are not worth fixing if the repair is substantial.

I've been wrecking yarding since 1970. 50% or more of what's in there are in really nice shape, just have little value. That's where I head in and pick over the nice stuff.

I have mint die cast parts from the late 1940s, etc. Tons of PT cruisers just started showing up in the last year....got parts off a convertible PT that looked brand new.

NO damage and the inside was immaculate... I always wonder why they are there...but it is usually the motor or trans needed work and it is adios and off to the

graveyard.
