70 Fury rearch leaf springs or new?
cars springs sagging bad and has load levers( which i hate)
whats normal ride height for this car?
and or should i go a little higher?
where would i get new springs?

Try St Louis Spring, when I got mine and checked around they were by far the cheapest. Don't forget the bushings.

Post some pictures of your car. Before you assume the rear springs are sagging check the front end height per the FSM directions. I thought I had the same sagging issue with my wagon but I found the front end had been raised almost 3 inches over stock. When I corrected that and removed the overload springs from the back the car sat perfectly level and now rides and handles perfectly.

Less than $600 for springs/bushings/shackles for a '65 Newport. That was last autumn.

^ this. I´ve used ESPO twice and have been very happy. One caveat to my agreement with you: the ESPO shackles do NOT work on 1970-1973 fusies. Money wasted to order them.

@moparblood — There are several threads on the topic, including a very detailed one by @1970FuryConv with lots of pics. Read those threads before proceeding.

PS: Be careful, the shackles are specific to 1970-1973 fusies and are NOT reproduced by anyone. So proceed gingerly when removing the old ones, as you will need to re-use them.

A third vote for ESPO. You can't go wrong with them. Probably going to be cheaper to ship to NYS because of the PA locale rather than the mid-west.

If the car is clean underneath, some soaking in penetrating oil (not WD-40) might be OK. My preferred way would be to split the nuts before even trying to take them off so you eliminate ALL chances of breaking the shackle bolts.

Around $20-25 will get you one of these:

I bought a set from Espo Springs n Things at 10/2020. Paid $455 for a pair of 1” over arched 7-leafs. The package included end bolts and axle pads. Shipping to Lake Worth, FL was 100 bucks.

Fourteen months later, I paid a bit less ($528, including S&H to the Midwest) for a set of 7-leaf factory-specs rear springs for Snow White, my 1970 N-code Polara 'vert. Those springs are correct as that Dodge came equipped with the A35 towing package. Here is a breakdown:

In the past I have rebuilt a spring set using a simple solution of adding a second long spring from another set of springs. I plan to do this on my 70 using the second leaf of an old set of imperial springs. I have done this with B body cars by using a C body spring and I did this to an old A body using a B body springs. I found the spring just below the main spring on the next size bigger car is almost as long as the main spring of the smaller car. I once used an arched spring from a Ford on an A body and it raised it about 4 inches so I would avoid that. lol

As long as your springs are not so bad they are arching the wrong way this works.

I've done this on 2 cars in the past and it does work, I've gotten 7-10 more years before that work is then worn out again.

With that said, it's a PITA job.
Gotta make sure all the parts come from a car that was not sitting lopsided, or need to measure any used parts for height/length to make sure they have similar arch to try and make both reworked springs have the comparable arch/springrate.

Taking those wrap-clamps off, busting apart 4 leaf springs, knocking rust off (it is sometimes in thick flakes), replacing those front bushings. :BangHead:
Installing new inter-leaf wear pads is easy but trying to put wrap-clamp back on wasn't.

It consumed my whole weekend each time I did it.
And they likely didn't ride as good as new ones - they only restored some ride-height.

Never again for me.
But do what your finances and skills dictate.

Here is another source, they are $149 ea for the springs but are out of stock.
They might approach the cost of the other places after supplemental parts and shipping are included.

I need to call them as I need to order a set for my 68, and 67-70 Fury are the same.

Mopar Performance Leaf Springs | General Spring

EDIT:
Here is a paste from their website for reference. Blank rows/applications are common to the prior-listed one (this pasted incorrectly from their website).
I just called and 67-70 Fury is awaiting shipment from their vendor, and was told they do not have a date yet, could be a few months.
Sources would be US, Mexico, India, Indonesia. While not China, I'd prefer a shorter list of sources to ensure good QC assurance. (but maybe this seller has that under control, who knows?)
