I've never understood why people would go through the trouble to build such stupid cars. The time & money invested in a car that is hideously ugly & unsaleable blows my mind.

I truly believe that builders of "short-cars" were transported to school by "short-bus"

That Super-Short-Bird is a Photoshopped pic. Who would shorten a front marker light ?, your face would be smashed against the windshield (+ the steering wheel looks like it's touching the seat) and there's no room for an engine...'cept maybe a Briggs or a Saab V4.

Just looking at it made me laugh though.

For a massively customized car one would think these guys could work out how to get a full side shot of it without clipping the photo off.

Someone needs to teach them how to hold a phone sideways.

It should be obvious, to do landscape view shots of long sleek objects, but old habits die hard.. and, he he, in this case, I'm not sure what to say, or which way to hold the phone.. :-D

Wonder what the European opinion is of American car shorties?

My humble "Eur-o-pinion" is, that the work done looks decent, but other than it's a complete disaster.. and that goes for all shorties. Yes, they are funny to look at.. in the same way, as pulling a sock over the head of a cat, and watch it running into stuff is funny.

To "do" an Imperial like this, is sacrilege to me.. and if he knew, Engell would have turned in his grave.. (or perhaps even spinning completely out of control).
