Nice. Looks like DE41G1D267076 has been confirmed to be GF7. (Edit: I am surprised by the roof: this Polara was originally built without a vinyl top, yet she now sports a white one). From the ad: "1971 Dodge Polara 318 V8 out of a 98 Ram 4 speed automatic. Engine and trans was swapped by previous owner. Documents provided. Plastic wrap still on back seat from factory. Very cool, unique car. I just don’t have time or room for it anymore. Cons:.A piece of the engine wiring got fried when testing an ignition coil and needs that chunk replaced or a new harness($160). Ran and drove prior. "

Did anyone get more information on this car?
Or a picture of the interior and that rear seat plastic wrap?

Not "factory" clear cover. These were aftermarket covers that upholstery shops installed. I think dealers pushed them too.

I remember having a sample piece from when my parents bought a '63 Newport.

Those covers were on my 67 Parklane when I bought it in 2003. Did keep the fabric pristine which is hard to do over the years.

Was that a sun shade in the rear window? I think I've only ever seen them in 50's & 60's Chevys at shows.
