'77 New Yorker (47k miles)

Ran across a 77 New Yorker for sale here in Roanoke, VA. if anyone is interested. Had a quick phone chat with the owner. His dad (now passed) was second owner. 47k original miles. 440. I was able to get pics, although the car is fenced in, and said I would pass along his number to the forum. He said he had a $4200 offer on the table, but it's still there ...

Damn, that is REALLY nice......looks unmolested....a 2dr.....and close by....I've always had admiration for some of the "formal" cars. I hope it goes to a good home.

Just beautiful! I have more $$$ invested in mine so far and mine doesn't even compare to this one. After looking at this beauty with 47,000 miles, I sometimes wonder if mine really has 45,000 or 145,000 miles with the difference in the condition of my car. That will be a topic of dicussion at Carlisle this year... guess the real number of miles on my NY'er. Again, this car is just beautiful!

Drove by yesterday afternoon, and it's still there ... if anyone is seriously interested, I would be happy to try and arrange a closer photo session with the owner (although I don't have access to a lift, but he may?), local directions, airport pickup / ride, etc..
