Wow, that's neat; a factory mopar cb radio. CB ("citizen band"?) radios must have been a really popular thing back then.

This the Chrysler factory am/fm/cb in my 78 NY'er. Sorry, not very good pictures.

And this is the broken antenna assembly. The am/fm part of the radio still works even with the antenna in this disrepair. The mast is completely missing.

What happened?

When I bought the car off craigslist from a corner car lot in York, Pa... the mast was on the car. As I was driving it home from there I watched the mast blow off on I-83. Never found it. Pieces of the bottom of the mast came off also and as you see it what was left when I finally arrived at home.
