How in the hell did they fit that in there? Looks tastefully done, someone put many hours in that one.

It's time to do some scheduled maintenance on the engine

Interesting to see what the rest of the powertrain looks like. In the later '80s, there was a white Dodge 600 convertible that was at Mopar Nats. RWD 440 TF, all "built" well before any commercial frame/platforms were ever thought about. On the outside, it all looked stock, other than the tastefully larger/wider tires that hinted at something else at play.

In the case of the PTs, which were originally a part of the "Personal Transportation" Plymouth concepts, a more sane variation might be a 3.6L PentaStar, the prior LH-series 3.5L V-6, or a SRT 4cyl. HAVE to have the underhood items oriented toward 100K+ maint schedules, other than oil and filter changes. The GenIII Hemis would at least allow better spark plug access.

Dreams + funding + free time = some "different" vehicle modifications. A truck V-10 might fit nicely in my '80 Newport, but I didn't have any need for that sort of thing when the stock 360 just needs a few upgrades to make it work better. BTAIM

Enjoy!

I remember seeing a Hemi powered one when they were first built, it was in a magazine and I don't remember how much was cut out to fit the 426
