I have the floor mounted pedal in my 65 300. I am replacing the carpet and can't see how to remove the pedal. How do I do this? If anyone has a picture that would be very helpful.

If I remember correctly Peter The pedal has a stud going through the floor with a nut on it that you get from underneath the car.

Another easy one man job to put it back.:BangHead: I wonder if there is an easy way to change it to a suspended pedal.

When the time comes, reference the pic below for proper pedal placement in relation to the rubber mat in the carpet.

Jeez, that looks like a picture just off the assembly line! Just beautiful!

Yeah, that was taken when I first put the carpet in, just cropped the area where the pedal meets the mat. The mat has a few scuff marks in it now.
