I recently picked up this '64 Newport, it was a couple hours away but it was pretty cheap. The guy said it was headed for the derby, so I grabbed it. It has a 361 and pushbutton.
The cool thing is a ton of original paperwork was in the glove box including the original purchase receipt from Andresen Motors in Seattle, the original build sheet, the first insurance they purchased in October of '63, and a bunch of other cool history.
Options include:
Basic Group - Radio, heater, power steering, power brakes, light package
Safety group - padded dash, windshield washer, variable speed wipers, remote mirror, glareproof windshield
Torqueflite 3 speed
Front & rear Airfoam seats
Electric clock
Tinted front window
Rear bumper guards
Wheel covers (they're in the car)
Anti freeze
Hood moulding
8.00 x 14 2 ply tires
They also had the dealership install front seat belts
Total of $3955.90
It was painted at some point, the clear is peeling off. It also has a dual master and a Pertronix in the distributor. But last plated in 1998.
