I just found a 67 Monaco 500 to use as a parts car for my 68.

My rear quarters need to be replaced, is there any way to just take the entire rear (trunk, and both quarters) off the car and put it on mine?

Or should I just cut out what I need?

It can be done. You'll just need a really competent body shop to do it right, read that as expensive.

It was pretty common 30 or so years ago to take two wrecks and make one car out of them... Seen it done a few times.

If you just have lower quarter rust I'd either patch them of just replace the skins. Back halfing a car is a lot of work to do it right and usually is done when frame rails, trunk floor and all rear sheet metal is really rusted or wrecked.

I back halved my '68 RR and it was fun, I'd definitely do it again.

If you can cut the back end off the donor car I would do that. I did this years ago when I was restoring a very rusty 68 Coronet 500 convertible. I bought a complete rust free 68 Coronet 440 4dr donor car, and rented a gas powered cut off saw and cut the entire back end off the car...right from in front of the rear door, up over and around. My body guy ended up using almost every piece from that back section.

Then pillage every nut, bolt, clip you can get off the car.

I would "back half" a car again but only in a shop with proper tools and equipment....(surface plate, good welder, lots of measurements and photos). It's not a driveway job

You're right about that Will! I used a builders laser level instead of the surface plate though.

If you do it, just be sure to use the correct halves.

That was a real car....
They wanted to sit in the median and be able to take off immediately in either direction.
The trouble was, the two troopers behind the wheels kept fighting with each other on who's pursuit was more important.
Egos, ya know.....
