Brought Home A 69 Monaco

It was cheap, like derby guy cheap and 5 minutes from my house so as soon as I saw it on Offer Up I jumped on it. 4 Dr with a horrible silver paint job but originally Q4 turquoise. All the trim is in the trunk I'm told. Runs but not well. No battery in it so I haven't started it or checked anything out yet. Good AZ title too!

Looks like it'll be a good project with a good result! 383 2bbl 2.76 with AT keeping the interior comfortable.

Tried starting it yesterday and it would start for a second with gas down the carb but must have some kind of a no spark issue. I'll try to mess with it more today. I did pull all the trim out and found 2 things missing. The left front molding and both front marker reflectors. The right molding is pictured to show which one I need.

Well I got it running on a prime. Have to go get a fuel pump tomorrow so it will Stay running. It had a bad distributor but luckily I had a good one laying around. Sounded good while it was running so I'm optimistic it will be a driver soon.

Looking forward to your progress with this one! Going to look for your parts tomorrow, I know at the minimum I have the marker lights. I thought the wagon came with the bright work but I'm not seeing it anywhere.

PS: Please paint it turquoise again one day.

Thanks for looking Wyatt. If any of the plastic clips are good I need all of them too. And yes the plan is to definitely go back to the Q4.

Probably.....you will not see many black interiors with a white ( v1w ) vinyl top.

Saying that....i owned a Q4 with white/black interior and black vinyl top....
Orig 383 4bbl , that was a fast car!!!
