Carlisle 2016 - A Great Car Show

Finally made to Carlisle today around noon. The NYB broke down on I-83 just south of York. Left rear tire exploded. I wasn't happy with the condition of the spare so I found a tire in the York area and put the spare on and drove over there to get a new tire. It's not a whitewall but I'll have a safe spare. I'm going to replace all 4 tires when I get back. They've been on the car for 5 years and I have 22,000 miles on them.

I took pictures of all the C-Bodies and will have them posted Sunday. Sorry, I don't have what I need here to upload the pictures.

Will's wagon is Building Y with Dave. His wagon is very worthy of being in there!

I did meet quite a few FCBO'ers today. Just an excellent day putting faces to
FCBO call signs and talking to everyone!

Dang......I almost forgot!

There is a B7 V-Code Sport Fury in Building Y. Unknown to most of us...the owner Dave is from Canada and found it 30 years ago with the engine and txsm out of it and getting ready to get crushed in Buffalo, NY. He rescued it and put it back together. It has 25 miles on it since the rebuild. It is outstanding! I'll post pictures on Sunday.

I saw/liked that one too... but it was getting swarmed when I was around it... and I keep forgetting the phone in my pocket. I'll try to do better with pictures today and spend a little less time in the swap.

What a great show and I have met so many great people nearly all from FCBO. I don't have the group photo so some else will have to pos it. These are just what I took with my phone .
